1. Different sources

Although both cashmere and wool come from sheep, 

they actually come from different kinds of sheep. 

Wool comes from sheep, while cashmere comes from goats.

Wool: from sheep. Even though it is fine, it is called wool.

Features of wool products: feel plump, warm and comfortable.

Cashmere is a thin layer of fine wool that grows in the outer skin of goat and hides at the root of goat coarse hair.

It grows to resist the wind and cold after being stimulated by the cold current in the beginning of winter, 

and then falls off naturally when it gets warmer in the next spring.

 It belongs to a kind of rare animal fiber.

2. Different warmth and hygroscopic property

Cashmere feels and keeps warm far better than wool 

(cashmere keeps warm 8 times as much as wool),

 is lighter than wool, weighs only one fifth of it, but is also more delicate, 

and has a lower durability than wool

The water absorption of cashmere is the strongest among all textile fibers, 

with a moisture regain of more than 15%.

If you immerse the cashmere sweater in water, 

it only takes a few seconds, and it will be completely wet,

 while most of the woolen sweaters need more than half a minute to be fully wet.

Therefore, in terms of moisture absorption, cashmere is obviously better than wool. 

Therefore, cashmere will not fade after dyeing, 

and the color is full. It is also more breathable and comfortable to wear.
